Book early to avoid disappointment in 2012. Fantastic scenery, loved by painters and photographers. Dordogne in July and August is serene, make sure you get there with us.

Just back from Lusignac last Sunday. The weather was glorious the whole week and just got better. Pascal had left the pool open. I tried it but it was so cold I jumped in and then out in one swallow movement. Lusignac bar was incredibly busy but on the Monday night some locals who were there for dinner were smoking cigars which was disappointing and smelly. Riberac market on Friday was fun.

Roy, Peter, Gerry, Steve and Will had an unforgettable weekend in June in Lusignac at Will’s gite (which is for rent). The highlight was a canoe ride down the River Dronne which ended in mighty mirth. Canoe hire in Brantonne very good except you have to be picked up afterwards which is not good if someone has fallen in!!

The weather this summer in Lusignac has been very pleasant. Our gite is available for last minute holidaymakers. Get away from UK clouds. Sleeps 8. suit disabled access.
